Yes. Meditation practice is both mind and body working together to get the right balance to make progress. Over time this spills out to your everyday life where you have to deal with different, sometimes fearful, situations. It's one reason for starting meditation when things are going well rather than when things are going pear shaped, although starting any time is better than not at all.
