    What is your own understanding of the Buddhist word "karma" ?

    Personally I think that the word is too loaded with meanings to be useful to me. Things arise and actions have consequences are important ideas in Buddhism and aren't so open to different interpretations. On the other hand, if karma is useful to your practice then run with it.
