Most interesting place I've meditated

It's getting a little warm here in the UK, well, at least where I am in England, which got me thinking about the time I meditated in a local Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka. It was down the road from my hotel so I asked the monk in charge if I could meditate under the tree in the grounds of the temple. I guess the price was right, so he let me sit there for a while. It was far too hot, even in the shade, and a number of ants took a keen interest in me. Anyway, I was wondering if people wanted to share their most memorable place?

The best place I ever meditated was under a beautiful Weeping Willow tree in a quiet park in the UK a number of years ago.
