    Walking meditation by Ajahn Siripunnyo

Somehow an Ajahn Siripunnyo video started automatically after I was listening to another video and working.

    What an articulate lovely speaker.

I don't know if being aware of the body, aware of the posture, aware of the touch of the feet with the ground means having mindfulness/sati or if it is just part of some meditation techniques.

I was taught that walking meditation was a meditation technique aimed at helping the development of mindfulness.

You must have listened more closely than I did.

Yes and I never get the answer I am looking for. One day I will understand meditation and mindfulness and how to practise.

For me, in walking meditation, you just watch your mind to keep the mind clear, so the mind inclines naturally to Anapanasati.

The only walking meditation I do these days is out and about in parks and woodland. I could never master walking meditation indoors as I got too concerned about bumping into things and tripping over my own feet

No, I don't close my eyes, but I get into a deep meditative state if I'm not careful. Not great while I am walking.
