Fo Guang Shan Temple, London.
I thought I might share information about this place. It is the Fo Guang Shan Temple in London, located along Margaret's Street just near Oxford Street. To me this was the very first temple I ever actually visited a few years on a day trip to London.
Having never been in one before I was impressed by how beautiful it was inside, and there was an atmosphere of such calmness and quietness that was quite wonderful compared to the hustle & bustle of the street outside.
I've found a few photographs online that shows what it is like along with the website itself should anyone wish to visit.

Hi Fenchurch,
Thank you for sharing. I confess that I wasn't even aware of the existence of this Taiwanese Mahayana Pure Land temple in London, as its not a tradition that I follow myself!
I follow the teachings of the historical Buddha in the Pali canon suttas, together with the Theravada tradition and (previously) the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition.
With metta, and may all beings have peace and happiness.
