    Rituals... hmm... when you display all your daily activities slowly, conscious, mindful, silently and aware of the present moment, you are performing a ritual. There is no need to go to a temple to have rituals as a reminder of the present moment. Fetching water and cutting wood done mindfully is a core zen practice; that's the ritual.
