It was nice to meet you today.
Hi,
It was nice to meet you, Woodscooter, Kathy, Aloka, and Michael. I'm looking forward to when we no longer need to say "in times like these" quite so often.
As you probably gathered, I find communicating with people really tough; so naturally chat is how I'd decide to dive into here. It's nice to know that I can still talk after nine months exclusively in my own company!
While having something of a pragmatic nature, I love hearing about how everyone else experiences their lives. There's something to be said for the company of a fellow traveller on the journey.

Hello Lacunae, I enjoyed meeting you today also. It was nice to hear from you. I would like to welcome you to Buddhism Without Boundaries. Please feel free to ask questions. I’m certain that we will try to answer them.

Hi Lacunae,
Greetings, and welcome to Buddhism Without Boundaries.
I feel I know you a little bit already having talked with you in the online meeting. I hope you'll develop the power of the written word as well as chatting with some of us in our weekly informal get-togethers.

It was nice to meet you today, Lacunae! Having people to talk to, who share at least a part of one's own journey, is a valuable thing, whether it is in person, in writing or in an online chat. This is a good group of people.

Thanks Michael,
I've danced around Buddhism for several years, not quite knowing how to get involved and find out more first hand. I started with trying to improve myself, but I'm still something of a work in progress.
There's a galaxy of people, places, history and material and it's always been difficult to know which was the the best fit for me.

Thanks Woodscooter,
I have many thoughts on things and there's so much to learn. More than can be easily learned in a single life. The idea that we're all travelling through the ages is very attractive; and it seems frustrating that we don't all recall the things we've learned across lives!

Thanks Aloka,
Eventually, I hope to learn enough to be able able to participate more fully. Every time I think I know something several other things present themselves! Not sure if life is like this for everyone.

Thanks Kathy,
Everyone seemed so happy and welcoming. I felt as if I'd returned from somewhere rather than just arrived. At the moment I feel grounded, but with a heart which tries to be open to possibility; and the idea that we all move from life to life re-meeting and finding a happy place for former associates is such an attractive idea!
