    BWB Photo Album

    Hello everyone!

This thread is for sharing photos that we've taken ourselves.

Here's one I took of a local cat coming to visit me:

Nice one Kathy. I used to use photographs like this as objects of meditation, as well as looking at them because I like keeping up with astronomy, and because they can be quite stunning. It's too light polluted where I am to do any useful work, but I have put some time in on the astronomy parts of Zooniverse doing some citizen science. Just found your Globular Cluster M13 photograph. Wow from me too, for both.

A great picture, Kathy! Thanks for sharing it.

The cat in the first photo looks good too. I have never met a cat I didn't like.

I've not been taking many photographs myself, but I've been having fun improving old family photos to pass on to future generations. This is from around 1910. My maternal grandmother on the left, the others being my great uncle and great aunts. I used software to take out scratches and improve the photo, then sharpened and coloured it at MyHeritage.

This is a photo I took in a park, I liked the flow of the shapes being made by the branches.

    Fawn in our back yard.

We were at my wife’s mother’s house visiting and actually saw four deer! Three fawns and and a doe. Very awesome
