Hello.
Hello.
I’m old (70+ years) and have read, studied and practiced Buddhism for more than 50 years, mostly as a ‘solo practitioner’ with an inclination toward the simplicity of Zen and zazen (especially the Soto Way and shikantaza), the penetrating insight of the Tibetan schools, and the Pali suttas and jhana practices of the Theravada/Vipassana schools. For the last 15 years I’ve been a member of a peer-led, non-sectarian Buddhist meditation group. And because the group is non-sectarian, I’ve had the opportunity to sit with a wide variety of Buddhist teachers, including a number of Soto Zen teachers in the Suzuki Roshi lineage.
Do no harm,
