It's all yours!
SN 7.2 is one of my favourite suttas - and here are two versions from different translators:

Any thoughts?

Hello Aloka,
I read both translations of the Suttas. I think that the Buddha was leading by example by NOT reacting to anger with anger. This caused Akkosaka to come to the realization that the Buddha's response to his anger was a wise response and led to Akkosaka changing the way he lived his life.
Definately a relevant teaching for all of us.
Thank you Aloka!
Kind Regards,
Gene

One of my favorite suttas as well... what a perfect example of getting someone to look at their own behavior and self analyze it.
