    Hi Aloka,

    This is a very powerful teaching. What we resist will persist. We can experience emotions like watching a river flowing while not getting caught up in the flow. Just observe the flow and allow some space to exist between the emotion and our experience of the emotion.

    I agree with Gene, just watching the emotions flow by while not stepping into the river. If you start to get caught up in the raw emotion then take a step back and see what’s causing it.
