Thanks for notifying. Unfortunatley the show went on for 2 1/2 HOURS so I can't obviusly fit it all in so I'll just give you Elgar's Pomp and Cermony, which is always very popular every year and has you can see the atmosphere in there is amazing.

    Good morning Fenchurch!

I'm not a fan of all that pomp & ceremony marching- type music myself. My local council has similar recordings on an answering machine loop if one tries to phone them about missed bin collections and so forth, which is definately good for the practice of patience, lol!

Here's some gentle bird songs which can be nice to listen to occasionally with an early morning cuppa tea or coffee:

    Good afternoon everyone,

I am listening to something that may be off the beaten track for some folks here., Lindsey Buckingham's Trouble.

I am a huge Fleetwood Mac fan! :)

I like not only this one but the following parts as well of Weightless by Marconi Union. This is to relax.

This score comes from the film The Road to Perdition and it's by Thomas Newman.

I've got this on DVD and to me it's such a strong, powerful film with such a strong powerful story.
But this music to me is so soothing, it's has if everything around you just simply stops and you can simply enjoy the moment in time of where you are and what you are doing there.
It's such great music to just stop for a while and take time to think about everything.

One of the most prolific composers of movie music is Ennio Morricone. The man was a genius.

This piece is a cheerful theme from a 1973 Italian Spaghetti Western: "My Name is Nobody".

It always makes me smile when I listen to it.
