    Greetings from the UK

    Hi everyone,

Greetings from the UK. I'm a practitioner from the Midlands of England. I have great respect for many teachers from various times and traditions. I primarily practice the relatively modern Vipassana practice.

Most of you would probably agree that being part of a practising community is an important part of our path, but in my area this is something I find difficult to establish, and my friends do not practice. I'm hoping I can make some contacts here, maybe even friends.

    Hi Touzo,

I hope you'll enjoy taking part in our discussions.

Its possible that you might be interested in joining in with the 4 people currently reading a Gil Frondal online text with the book group. You can just read & comment at your own pace, there's no pressure.

    With kind wishes,

    Aloka

Thanks Aloka. That sounds good, I'll check it out. I like Gil Fronsdal a lot but haven't read his book.

    Thanks Woodscooter.
