Hi
Hello everyone. My name's Alan, I live near London and I'm an English teacher. I've recently separated from my spouse and, partly as a consequence of this, I've become very interested in Buddhism and mindfulness. I have been listening to a great and helpful secular Buddhist podcast and one of the episodes talks about the importance of finding a community. That led me here. I don't know, quite, which topics I'll be pursuing but what I'm essentially looking for, I suppose, are discussions of day-to-day issues and the application of Buddhist teachings to the same. Hope this is the right site. I look forward to talking to some of you.

Hi Alan. I taught English, together with everything else, in a Primary school in the West Midlands. Good to see you here.
