Good evening,

I've found a video called 'Words of my perfect teacher' by Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche.

I'm attempting to translate it for the people of the temple I'm going to. I'll insert French subtitles with a SRT file.

I've finished the translation but there is one word, I mean one saying I can't be 100% sure of.

Could you guy please tell me what Dzongsar Khyentse says at 1:35 in the video ?

The sentence starts like this : to study Buddhims is to study **** .

I need you to clear the end of that sentence for me since I can't understand it.

Thank you so much. :hands:

Any discussion about that video would be very welcome too.

He's saying that "to study Buddhism is to study about yourself".

I didn't have time to watch the rest of the video. The title "Words of my Perfect Teacher" was originally the title of a text by a Nyingma teacher called Patrul Rinpoche (1808 - 1887)
