Hi everyone,
I'm from Sydney, Australia. I've been studying and practicing Buddhism for a couple of years now and hope to take part in a taking refuge ceremony at the end of the year. I'm most interested in the Bodhisattva aspect of Buddhism.
I'm a recently graduated psychologist and it was studying at uni that led me to Buddhism. I was learning in neuroscience and positive psychology their new discoveries that meditation, kindness, compassion, and selflessness have positive benefits of the brain and on mental health and thought - Buddhists have known that for thousands of years, why not learn from the masters :)
Nice to meet you all, thanks for having me

Thanks everyone!
Thanks NotLostYet, I do think I've found the right path but still at the beginning of the journey I think! :)

Rou, my own opinion is we are all at the beginning of our journey.
You seem from your introduction to be a long way ahead of me on this journey,
I wish you well, and
hope that we all find what we are looking for

Hello Rou,

I wish you well on your journey. I am at the start of a long road but already seeing the benefits of meditation and following Budddist principles on a daily basis.

All the best,

Ken
