I'm presently deployed, and felt a strong draw towards buddhism while over here, I was raised predominantly
non-denominational christian so this is a big step outside what I was raised around, there just wasn't much that I felt I could
identify with it anymore. The feeling this is right is a big step for me, but where i'm at there aren't exactly buddhist practice
groups so in order to learn more about it I have to resort to religious studies books, or the internet. I hope to find more
information and a system of support here.
